Leelanau Gear was updated as a merge of two older websites into one main parent brand. Traffic started coming in as soon as the site was launched and the onsite SEO has been built out to assist in the growth of organic traffic over time.

It features a full-screen background video on the landing page, a modern design with seamless user flow, a constant call-to-action button to lead to store info and directions always in view, custom store hours based on store season dates and hours, and many other exciting functionalities.

WordPress was used as the frontend content management system to allow access to editing from the Leelanau Gear team.

It was built with scalability in mind to integrate with e-commerce functionality and other popular P.O.S. platforms.
